Hi! I’m Julieta ︎

I'm a designer and researcher with a special interest in fashion, entertainment and toys. I'm passionate about designing products that not only serve a physical or utilitarian purpose but most importantly serve an emotional one. In a world filled with discarded products that hold little to no emotional attachment to a person, I want to design beautiful things that humans can connect to.

I believe that being a good listener is key to delivering impactful solutions. I prioritize connecting with real people to understand their aspirations, goals and experiences.

Being Nicaraguan, I’ll be forever grateful of growing up in such a rich and diverse culture, and I’ll always strive to bring some of my heritage into my design practice.

Currently I'm part of the fashion world working for Kontoor Brands (parent company of Wrangler, Lee and Helly Hansen) as an innovation and technical research intern. I am actively seeking a full-time opportunity across several industries, with a strong interest in fashion, toys and entertainment. I'm particularly interested in Assistant Designer, Consumer Insights Analyst/Trend Forecasting and Product Development roles.
